From a ceremony bathed in golden light to a ballroom portrait session and an unforgettable first dance, Rachel-Ann and Allan’s day at Graydon Hall was nothing short of timeless.

Rachel-Ann and Allan’s wedding at Graydon Hall Manor was sun-drenched, elegant, and full of joy. As a Toronto wedding photographer, I always love returning to Graydon Hall — its historic architecture, lush gardens, and outdoor terrace make it one of the city’s most timeless venues. This day felt particularly special: a celebration that combined refinement with heartfelt moments, from a ceremony in the gardens to a choreographed first dance that surprised everyone.

A Sunlit Ceremony in the Gardens
Their Graydon Hall Manor wedding ceremony took place outdoors in the afternoon sun — bright, hot, and radiant. Guests fanned themselves while watching Rachel-Ann and Allan exchange vows in a setting that was both luminous and unforgettable. The way the light poured across the garden made the entire moment feel alive, every detail illuminated as they promised forever.

Dinner on the Terrace
Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the terrace for dinner, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect summer evening. Glasses clinked, conversations carried through the gardens, and the speeches had everyone laughing and tearing up in equal measure. Her father delivered a poem that was both heartfelt and hilarious, while their MC — a close family friend — filled the evening with the kind of humor that only comes from someone who knows you well.

Ballroom Portraits at Golden Hour
As dinner was underway, sunlight began streaming through the tall windows inside Graydon Hall. One of my favourite parts of their Graydon Hall Manor wedding was stepping into the ballroom at golden hour for portraits, and the timing was serendipitous. The light was beaming across the room, scattering gold across the floor and wrapping Rachel-Ann and Allan in a cinematic glow. Those frames became some of the most striking images of the day — intimate, radiant, and unmistakably theirs.

A Choreographed First Dance to Remember
Later in the evening, Rachel-Ann and Allan surprised everyone — myself included — with a choreographed first dance. It was flawlessly executed, full of energy and grace. Her Cinderella-shaped dress swept across the dance floor with every turn, catching the light as guests cheered. It was one of those moments that felt iconic, a perfect finale to an already unforgettable celebration.
